CONFUSED
Okay, so im 16 and I thinkI I may be pregnant. My period is usually 7 days long. i bleed heavy first two days with cramps and the rest of the days my period slows down gradually. It is june and i had sex with my boyfriend without a condom on the first friday.. my period usually starts on the 16th.. and it did, but this period wasnt the same like before.. i had cramps the first day.. andd the second day none. the first day i was bleeding , ibut the second day not so much. it just got lighter and lighter. until i didnt even need a pad and my period lasted for 4 days. its now the 23rd, what do u think? please get back to me asap, as i am going nuts. I hope this is all in my head.
Clysta- I got pregnant at 16.. I wasn't ready but when I had my baby I became ready... No offense but she didn't ask to be judged... she asked what peoples opinions were about her period... people judging others is one HUGE reason we don't have more people asking questions or people getting out of situations they don't need to be in etc.. Please don't judge her. She asked a simple question and would like to know what other women think about her cycle. Not being rude. I am just so tired of being judged and people judging others when NO ONE has the right to judge since NO ONE is perfect.
Confused1829- I think you need to wait a couple weeks and test. It normally takes that long for the hcg hormone to show up on a test. Good luck!

AmberCuevas- I highly doubt a 16 year old is charting and temping.
Your body is still adjusting and you're still going to go through hormonal changes. It isn't the length of the period that matters. It sounds like you had a normal period even if it wasn't the norm for you.

If you're having unprotected sex, you always run a risk of pregnancy. It's possible you just had an off month, but it's hard to say. To only way you're going to know is to wait 2-3 weeks and to take pregnancy test with first morning urine. Because you're 16, I highly doubt you're ready for children or pregnancy, so always use protection.
Do you temp? ovulation test? Theres no way to tell unless you are keeping up with ur fertility until you wait n test. Sorry couldnt b of more help. Have a good day
