quads screening results

Im 21 years old and 19 weeks pregnant and yesterday I got my quads tests results and it came back positive this wed. I go in for more "in depth" ultrasound. I was wondering what should I expect to happen at this appointment?

What was the ratio they gave you ? An the scan will be to check for soft markers that point to downs syndrome eg. Bowel ,facial feature (nasal bone) etc if this also is positive they may do an amnio which is a needle into the womb to see which gives a more accurate reading but does carry a 1% chance of misscarriage. I took the quad screen with my last pregnancy and it came back positive. I went for the ultrasound sound and my little boy was fine. The dates were wrong. The doctor went by my last menstrual cycle and it marked me at 19 weeks. Well I wasn't but 16 by the ultrasound. I didn't take the quad this time around.
