Birth Control

My doctor has asked me to decide which birth control I plan to use after birth, but after reading some of the side effects of them I'm a little hesitant. . What are some that you ladies suggest?

My body can't take any other types of birth control either only progesterone based. I was on the mini pill for a while and just found out that I'm almost 7 weeks pregnant

Are you planning to breast feed? I plan on breast feeding so I'm only allowed to have progesterone based BC. My options are the depo shot or the copper IUD. Although IUDs make me nervous I think it's my best option. From what I hear it's the most effective and you don't have to worry about forgetting to take anything. I've known quite a few people that have gotten pregnant off the depo shot and also gained weight and acne. I've only known one girl to get pregnant while having an IUD. It's definitely a personal choice but that's my two cents :)
