Isn't lanisol like really thick n sticky??
Mandatace did you use honey while breastfeeding or before? I would be worried baby would get some, and they arent supposed to have honey till at least a year or they can get botulism. I would recomend lanisol as a nipple cream. Completely natural and safe for you and baby and works wonders! For the dryness and peeling on the breast I would use coconut oil.
I used honey for my nipples when they got sore. Straight natural honey. I cant use soap products on my skin anyway so I use soap free products and had no problem. If you rinse and dry yourself properly I don't see the problem. And if your still worried, use baby soap.
I used this cream on mine before my babies were born and while (right after) breastfeeding. Mine have peeled before as well. and itched but I think that is because they grew. unfortunately I do have stretch marks now.now
See I don't have dry problem but they n all around my boob just itch like crazy!! N like I got out of shower few weeks ago n noticed I was shedding there I was so stumped . I assumed it was from them growing. My stomach did the same. I'll have to look into the wipes.
While shopping the other week I saw nipple wipes specifically for breast feeding mama. It was at Walmart. I plan on breast feeding as well but haven't been told of any pre upkeep. I keep my skin hydrated and already purchased nipple cream. At one point around 20wk or so my nipples got dry...I used the cream and they were fine.
