Dony be scared of being induced. Just because you get induced which means speeding up the process unaturally vs your body doing it yourself (breaking your water, pitocin to strengthen contractions etc) alot of women are induced because of dif reasons (not dilated enough,  not dilating fast enough,  to prevent c section,  etc.) I will tell you if you want to go natural & you need pitocin you may reconsider going natural for an epidural.  I've had my waters broke & pitocin with my first, also had an epidural so I had little to no pain.  With my second,  I wanted to go natural but they gave me pitocin, I couldn't handle it so I got the epidural again.  Love my drugs lol but being induced is not a scary thing. It just speeds up the process.

Drs will normally only induce unless you're seriously miserable and beg for it, it's medically necessary or if you're two weeks past your due date.
