Just thought I would add...my DH is a police officer and had a call a few months ago about a baby that died sleeping on a boppy. The baby was napping on the boppy and the mom was with him, she fell asleep though and woke up to her baby not breathing. Sad call. The baby was young if I remember right, about 2-3 months.
Oh no, If my baby was asleep and I was the only one around I wouldnt fall asleep, I'd be too paranoid, i cant even do that with my 3 yr old brother, I have to wait till my mum gets in if shes at work. I'll stay awake in my room, but I physically cant fall asleep, I cant even sleep unless I know my other half is home safe in bed or something... I just cant do it. LOL.
I know they cant have Quilt covers for a while.
xx
I think it's ok as long as she can't roll yet and is only sleeping on her back.
But i thought they couldnt have pillows or normal quilts before a year anyways...

As others have stated- I would never put a Boppy in a crib or allow my baby to sleep on it unattended. It is fine for her to nap on when you are RIGHT there and watching her. But most accidents happen with my baby when I am RIGHT next to her but distracted by something (like when I was folding laundry and she was right next to me as her sister poured juice all over her face).
The Boppy can cause her chin to be pushed into her chest, obstructing her airways and slowly suffocate her. Babies don't always wake up or try to move when they stop breathing (hence SIDS).
