If is your first baby doctors try to deliver the baby naturally if by any chance theirs any problems then you will have a c-section and if you do.. after that you will have a choice if you decide to get pregnant again but it all depends what doctor you choose...I have had 3 c-section 2nd and 3rd pregnancy where by choice now I am going on my 4th pregnancy
Its better for you and your baby to have a natural delivery. Csection sounds like the easy way out but talk to moms who have gone through it and most will tell you it's not. Recovery time is also much longer after a Csection. This is my fourth baby and this time I am sort of getting a choice. I'm a small girl too (5ft tall and just 100lbs when not pregnant) and the first baby was breeze to have. Second was a little bigger and got his shoulder stuck but not bad. Third baby was a lot bigger got stuck bad. So my doctor said i had to have a Csection if I had another. I was okay with that and kind of relieved too until i started researching Csections and talking to moms who have had them. What I learned changed my mind completely. I have a new doctor now and instead of forcing me to havea cCsection she's allowing me to choose. Now I'll probably still end up having too but we're keep a watch on how big the baby is getting and deciding together which is the safest. I obviously won't try for natural if it's seems its going to be dangerous for the baby but if there is a small chance I can i have her natural that is the way I want. I just recommend you do a lot of research. If you really are a weak person the recovery of the Csection is going to be so much harder for you. Our bodies are made to spring back after a vaginal birth they aren't after major surgery.
I personally wanted to give birth naturally I had dreamed of it ever since I was little but when I was 12 I had to have back surgery due to scoliosis and due to the curve at the bottom of my back that was unable to be treated with the surgery my pelvic bone tilted therefore I was unable to give birth vaginally and had to have csections my first the recovery was not bad at all I was up and walking in the room after 12 hours and walking around the hospital hall the next day my second however it hurt more but I knew I had to get up and walk because it helps with the healing I'm now 10w6d pregnant with my third and last
Becca that may be because or having twins but they ent do it otherwise unless medically needed, its not as bad as u hear baby mama or body will cope and will be stronger than u think, its scarey for all, I'm glad I had my first son vaginally! I would trust or doc with this one
I'm having a baby boy and all my life I've been extremely small and skinny and overall weak.. I just don't think my body will be able to handle it all naturally, but to my doctor that's not a good enough reason :(
My c section is elective. I'm fully capable of delivering the twins vaginally, but chose not to.. my OB didn't even try to steer me away, she was like okay no worries.
Csection is a serious surgery and not something to do lightly. Plus there are more risks for complications if you plan to have more kids. I've never had one but I've been told that the recovery is harder as we'll. I'd trust your doctor. I've never heard of elective csections. They don't even like to induce without a good reason. Congrats on your baby.
