I have the worst pains in my thighs at top and pelvic area and dont see my midwife till next week, ive read up some things and think it could be spd. Has anyone else got it and got any advice on ways to ease pain or what to do? Thanks

thank you yeah my dad told me to try some codine but dont want ant pain relief without it being ok'd by mw first! only 17weeks so this will be a long pregnancy if it doesnt ease off :(

I highly recommend a support belt, it doesnt make the pain disappear but it does help a lot. I can definitely feel the difference when I've used it. Talk to your gp or midwife because they can prescribe painkillers and get you a referral for physiotherapy

I havent seen a doc about it but I have been having incredibly painful round ligament pains. So I have been doing those exercises

I have it. Sounds the way your describing but theres nothing you can do other than the exercise the lady above me mentioned x

Someone else posted about this the other day. Get a support belt, do kegels and pelvic tilts to help strengthen the ligaments. Nothing else can really be done
