Confusing Dates

Hi there. I had a miscarriage, partial natural and then an Evacuation recently.

However, I've been going over my notes and according to the dates, I would have concieved the SAME week I thought I was having a period, it wasn't implantation, it was far too heavy for that.

Any suggestions? No fibroids, ovaries seem to be 'normal' (compared to older scans) etc.

You just might be one of those girls that still had an initial period with pregnancy? I agree it is a little odd how the timing worked out for you.  Was that particular period the same number of days as usual out from your last previous period?

It was lighter than normal for me and my cycles can be unpredictable sometimes. I guess sometimes you just get bleeding for no real reason other than a pr drop. Hmm.

It could have been BTB but.. I'm really not sure.

Yeah, I'm familiar with that. I think I've worked it out correctly working back the weeks from the ultrasound and details and it's smack bang at the start of a period! Could be a week or so out, I guess.. even so, that's a weird cycle if it is.

Are you familiar with how the dates work? Your first week is actually the week of your period. You don't conceive until the second week of "pregnancy."

Does that help, or were you already familiar with that?

(I've put this here because it's more related to pregnancy than miscarriage!)
