35 weeks stringy gel like discharge

Im 35 and 1/2 weeks pregnet and i lost my mucus plug around 34+2 weeks but yesterday i noticed a wet feeling down there so i went to the toilet and when i wiped i had to wipe a couple of time due to quiet abit of stringy
gel like discharge which has continued through till today.
I have also been having a stinging sensation in my vagina but there is no infection.
And last night i was having non painful contractions every half an hour. which has also continued through till today.
I dont have an appointment until the 8th of march is there any thing i should be worried about?

non painful contractions are braxton hicks - the body's natural practice run for labour. the discharge you describe does sound like your plug. you may have lost some of it earlier and are losing the rest now. i have no idea about the stinging sensation, sorry. if ever you are worried though, ask a medical professional, even if it turns out everything is fine it's best to be cautious and check. it's only a little of their time to put your mind at ease/ investigate any potential issues.

I would def ring them, your not a pain and they wont think that you are, 35 weeks is a pre term baby and its best to be on the safe side :)
