Losing so much weight.. Is this normal?

I was 124 lbs when I found out that I was 4 weeks pregnant. I am now 10 weeks & I weigh about 113 lbs. I'm not able to eat due to my nausea & vomiting. Everything I try to keep down ends up coming right back up. Sometimes even when I drink water, I will throw that up. I know that its common to lose some weight during the first couple months but is 11 lbs too much? Should I be concerned?

I lost 68 lbs with my very first pregnancy due to morning sickness. I literally looked sick. Once my belly started showing I was so tini nobody even knew I was pregnant. It disappointed me cause I was so excited nd wanted everyone to know I was pregnant. I weighed 170 when I got pregnant nd ended up weighing 102 at 6 months pregnant. I think I gained 7 lbs by the end of my pregnancy. With my second I was able to get phengren to help with my morning sickness..my first dr wouldn't give me anything but I switched drs with my second nd he gave me medicine nd I gained 63 with him. My third I lost 34 with but ended up gaining like 20 of it back once again given phengren for morning sickness.. this one I losted 68 lbs before I got pregant nd morning sickness comes nd goes.. but luckily I haven't had to get phengren for sickness nd only gained 12.5 so far.. ask your dr about zofran or phengren. Phengren makes me sleepy but sure did help me maintain a steady diet.. zofran is good to but not as strong.. seems to wear off quick with me nd it didn't have the strong drowsy affect like phengren. I would definitely talk to your dr about it tho.. its the only thing that worked for me nd I was glad I could sit down nd actually eat something..once I was able to eat I found that the morning sickness had subsided quite a bit. Good luck.

Yeah I agree talk to your doctor. That's how I was and mine prescribed me meds that helped. I still throw up once or twice right when I wake up though. I'm 12 weeks and lost 14 pounds

Your hair could fall out or your teeth could get brittle if you dont have enough nutrients in your body.  Also you can pass out from being dehydrated.

Not good to throw up so much you can get dehydrated...make a dr appt to get some medicine for nausea.  make sure your taking your vitamins the baby should be fine it steals whatever it can get from your body if u cant keep it down...
