Induction with VBAC?

If I don't go into labor on my own, can I be induced for my VBAC or will I ultimately have to have another c-section? I'll see my doctor Wednesday and will be 38+5 and intend to ask her, but does anyone have any experience or know what their doctor has told them?

Well luckily I'm showing signs if impending labor now, so maybe it won't be an issue.

My doctor told me that they can not induce or help in any way with labor during vbac. As far as making it progress

Thanks! I'm low risk because my incision was ideal. My doctor said there's a 9 in 1000 chance I won't be able to deliver vaginally so I've got hope. Impatiently waiting and never been so ready for pain!

Well I'm definitely going forward with the VBAC if it's possible. I specifically picked the practice that my doctor is at because all 8 OBs there do them and I've signed my waiver stating I know the dangers and whatnot. I just don't want to  not have that choice because I don't go into labor on my own.

My doctors and hospital have stopped doing them. They said its too dangerous to do vbac..I'd get it straight with your doc! Good luck!
