Tell boss..

I started my job and 2 days after found out i was pregnant. I planned on telling my boss at 12 weeks (now 16 wks 3 days). Then one day she was talking to me and my coworker about how she thinks people under 23 (I'm 21) shouldn't have kids bc we do it for selfish reasons or we are just stupid and don't use protection. After hearing that I double thought about telling her but I know my job needs to know....what should I say or do?

In her defense if she doesn't know you are pregnant it isn't surprising that she thinks you have an excessive amount of Dr's appts. She isn't aware of the reason. She cannot fire you, and you shouldn't let her personal opinions affect you.
You have to tell her so that she can alter your work load if needed

Yeah I'm showing now and have to hide it. I work at a hotel so I don't know about the maternity leave. I don't plan on working after the baby as I'll be a stay at home mom. She already made a comment to a coworker that I have 2 many doctor appointments for someone who isn't sick. She is a terrible boss.  She is very judgemental and as much as I don't care what she says I just don't need to hear it or see her dirty look she always gives. How should I tell her?

At some point you are going to have to tell , they can not fire you because of the pregnancy thats unlawful and dont worry about her opinion someone will always have something to say. But you are going to start to show and your appointments will become weekly toward the end. Do they offer maternity leave ?
