I don't have a direct answer to your question, but until you figure out what you're going to do, try sprinkling baking soda in your hair when you shampoo it and simply rinse it out with the shampoo. It sounds weird, but it really does help make your hair a bit more manageable and super soft.
Or get sewins theres plenty u can do to hide the new growth..twist, box plaits, if u dnt want a full sewin u can always do leave out with curly hair tho that matches ur texture that way u dnt have to wrry about laying ur new growth, wigs its so much u can do if u dnt wana c ur hair until u birth..but as a stylist idnt put chemicals in pregos hair im against it
I relaxed mine yesterday. I was trying to avoid doing it but edges were so bad and I had a TON of new growth that needed to be taken care of. I got sick of walking around looking like I dont own a brush lol I had to do it.
Ohh and bc of the hormones not evry woman reacts the same to relaxers u might loose hair or the relaxer wont take as it would if u werent prego
Iuse to get relaxers too before iwas pregnant but theres this keratin product at salons that u keep up w. It evry 3mnths and ur hair will look relaxed its amazing and no chemicals its water based..theres another keratin but that has chemicals dnt let them fool u
I relaxed my hair with my first pregnancy and she was fine. I also relaxed my hair with this pregnancy an i have no problems i would just apply the perm in a well ventilated area
I relaxed my hair three weeks ago....baby is fine. I hope this helps.
I'd imagine it would be okay since you can dye your hair while pregnant? I don't relax my hair so I'm not sure if it's a similar process or...?
I also wanna know the answer to this. I keep forgetting to ask my doctor.
