i'm 25. i'm going to research and see what i can find. i tried bcontroll pills to regulate, that was my doc suggestion on a month off a month , that wasnt working so now i'm not even doing that so its been 6 months of no pills at all.
well i figured my issue was the long cycle, but i'm glad to hear ppl w/ normal periods have the same issue...
I have been off the pill for about 6 months too. My periods went right back to normal and still nothing has happened for me either. I figured "normal period---ovulation timing" boom...pregnant". Not so. I feel your frustration. I know it must be harder to calculate with your cycles being so long, but I would listen to bioclock1...there might be something you can do to get you cycles/ovulation to come within a measureable time frame.
Best of luck to you...don't feel alone in your frustration.
*hugs*
how old are you? I'm asking b/c unless you're really young (like below 20) a doc would be overstepping boundaries to tell you that they won't help you concieve...for some it's an ethical issue...
There are lots of different ways to regulate your period and help ovulation. You should google natural progesterone cream and read up on that. There are many ways to use it (as birth control, as support for early pregnancy, as period-regulator, ovulation trigger, etc) and if you do some research, you may find that this is the best thing to help you without having side effects like some of the things docs may give you.
Good luck!
sometimes it takes women many months to become pregnant after stopping birth control, I am sure that if after 12 months of TTC and no luck, the doctor will give you something like clomid. Sorry you are bummed but it will happen for you soon.
