Not trying to be negative but how could you carry a baby for nine months and know that you just might be wasting your time because due to your actions your child may not even live. You are going to have to sacrifice more than cigs so you might as well start.

My cousin smoked with her baby during her whole pregnancy. She was born early and with a hole or a dead spot in her heart nd with severe respiratory problems and asthma.

I no a girl that smoked through both her pregnancies and both were still borns... cutting back is good but giving up is better for you and baby! If someone else was carrying your baby and smoked you would tell them to quit surely.... i smoked fags and weed all day long but when i got pregnant i gave up because if something did go wrong i would never be able to forgive myself... If you take the risk and your baby has complications or worse could you forgive yourself... all for a couple of fags a day? I hope you do the right thing for the both if you... good luck and well done for what you have already acheived :)

And not trying to scare u by any means cuz i do kno how hard it is but i did have to have an emergency c-section. (my water broke) & they said typically smokers have less  amniotic fluid (idk if thats true but it scared me & thats  all ive been thinking thru out this pregnancy)
but like i said, i havent smoked in 10 weeks but i seriously want one so bad everyday (esp if im not feeling well)

even ur doc will tell u its better to slow down if u cant quit because if u stress while ur quiting the bby will stress all my docs have told me to just cut back if i wasnt able to quit,, but on the other hand i thnk u should not care at all how one person looks at u who cares is they r disgusted its ur decision and not theirs my uncle has never smoked before and has lung cancer i didnt smoke one cigg whn i was prego w my 5yr old and he is the one who has asthma my other 4 i smoked a half pack a day and they r healthy as can be im sorry but gods plan for our lives is already picked out rather u quit or not... i wish u luck if ur trying to quit as it is better if u quit pregnant or not smoking isnt good and im also trying to quit=)
