my daughter has fkn lice! I feel so grossed out...i guess she either got it at school or at her dads from her little sister who is 4 because she doesnt go anywhere else..ive never had to deal with this so idk what to even do..im overwhelmed because im having a baby anyday now and i dang sure dont want it here when he comes home and my husband is still out of town because of the ice storm that came in last night and im trying to clean everything =[ im feeling sad and overwhelmed right now...sorry for the long rant.

I just wana vent about this on here lol. My mum looks after kids at our home for work and thers a little boy who is 4 or 5 who gets looked after every friday cause his mum works. Every time he comes he is full of head lice! Ther so bad and his hair is short, it gets that bad that a couple of times ther are even ones crawling on his neck and forehead!!!! My mum checks him every time he comes and treats his hair so we and the other kids dont get it. My mum has told her all year how to get rid of them and she just always says well what do you want me to do  she has a daughter also who we see sometimes when they come to get him and shes crawling with them too, even the mum. This has been going on all year, the little boy is going to school next year and he knows whats going on and crys every friday cause my mum has to treat him its so unfair to him. I feel for him so much and the mother just really doesnt care at all. Make sure you treat everyone in the house even urself just to make sure, they are easy to get rid of if you do it. All these ladies gave u great advice. I hope its not too hard to get rid of them and hope it happens before bubba comes. Best of luck with the cleaning!

Ya I put all of her stuffed animals in trash bags and bleached everyone's sheets and blankets in hot water and then I put their pillows that I couldn't wash in the dryer on high heat for an hour and a half. I alsocombed through her hair and then treated it and combed back through it and the blow dried it on high heat as hot as she could stand it. Lol iI'm exhausted...I vaccumed her whole bed and room and her bed already has a mattress protector on it its like zipped in a plastic bag so we will see y'all pray it goes away and I'm about to have my friend check my hair

also after you treat her hair if you can french braid hair that helps keep them out. Just braid and spray with hair spray. My parents use to do thst my sister and i and we never got lice when all the other kids did

Lice *****! I would wash everything and vaccum but empty ur vaccum outside so the lice dont jump around and comb through her hair extra good. U can put stuff in trash bags too like pillows and stuffed animals and itll suffocate the lice

My son brought it home my first trimester when I was so sick and tired all the time. It was hell. we had to go through two lice treatments before it all went away. I'm so sorry to hear that. Try buying tea tree oil shampoo for after the treatment. Lice don't like the smell.

Thanks ladies...I haven't seen any bugs just eggs and my neighbor picked up a kit at the store she braved the roads and I'm washing everything in scalding hot water and bleach so hopefully I can get it taken care of. :(

Its ok stay calm theirs thid laundry soap that kills just shawer her head in it and then go look through her haif take them out uts called foca it has picture of a seal :) thsts how my mom id it worked

You can get rid of her lice by putting lice treatment in her hair and putting mayo in it to get the eggs out or straighten her hair a lot it will burn them to death
