I thought potential lawsuits could come from C-sections, since its considered a major surgery.
Anyways, I dont think a good Dr. would force you if you dont need it. If he does, then you should start seeing some other Dr.
good luck!
sweetcandygirl28- i dont think he would mind since you said hes got 2 other girls pregnant too. but no i dont think you can just request c sections
your an idiot, stop posting stupid S hit, your how old??? and your pregnant?? and you spell like that?? and you speak like that?? come on, get real!!! go play in someone elses back yard, were not stupid here.
CANZ I REQUESTZ A CSECTIONZ MY GUY DONT WANTZ ME TOZ STREACH MYZ HOLE
If there are no emergency reasons (ie: decels in heartbeat, baby too large and got stuck, placenta ruptured, bp out of control etc) then you can always refuse a c-section. My doc this time assumed I would be having a c-section becuase my first child was one. I refused and told him NO...I had since had 3 vaginal births and refused to have another c-section "just becuase". I ended up delivering vaginally again with no problems. Sometimes you really have to put your foot down with the doctors and remind them that they are there for YOU..not the other way around.
Yeah, as BTS said, to avoid POTENTIAL problems and lawsuits the c-section is their safety gate.
Just like sweetangel said as well, make sure you let your wishes be very clear to the Dr. and staff.
They don't do it to collect more money from insurances. They do it to cover their butt's from a lawsuit. Thats why they do so many c-sections when they really aren't needed.
I don't know what to say, I've never heard of that before BUT I'd make your wishes very clear to everyone so that everyone knows what you do and don't want...hopefully some peer pressure might work?
