pregnancy

So me and my boyfriend is trying to get pregnant. I'm unsure if I'm pregnant now or not cause I'm guessing its to early to tell. My period went off the 6th of June we've been having intercourses since than. When is a good time to try?  How long before I can test?

If u have a smart phone there is an app I can download for free called my period. If u put I. The date of Ur period and how long Ur cycle is usually 28 then it will pop up when u obvulate each month. It helped me get pregnant. And the other ladies are right about the every other day thing. The app will show about 3 days leading up to obv how I actually got prego was doing it the night before I obv. But the app really helped me. And they are right about 14 days after the start of Ur period is when u obv. I hope this helps u and I wish u the best of luck :)

Ovulation occurs mid cycle. And we only ovulate once (rare cases twice). So for example, for those women who have a 28 day cycle, they're likely to ovulate around cycle day 14-16.

Having sex every other day is important because it gives time for the man's sperm count to build back up and so increases your chances.

well you only ovulate once per mth and it normally takes place about 1 week after your period it does vary a little depending on how long you cycle is.
but as far as why do you only have sex every other is because it is better sperm lives inside you for up to 48 hrs and sometimes longer and you have to give him a chance to regenerate.

So you first would have to know how long you average cycle is and that measured from the first day you start one period to the day you start the next and you average the amount of days over a period of time.  you would need to know when you started your period not ended. and they you can figure out when you ovulate.
most people 28 day cycle they ovulate around the 14th day after period.

If your period didn't finish till 6th June, then you're definitely not pregnant yet. Right now you either just have or are about to ovulate, which is a women's fertile time and when you need to be having intercourse. You should be doing so every other day (not every day). You can't test until 2 weeks after ovulation (or intercourse) but you're best waiting until your next period is late.

I waited and tested until I was over a week late on my next period just because I have always been irregular and every time I tested a few days into my 'missed' period I would get my negative and get my period the very next day. Try after your missed period. Or they have those '5 days sooner than your missed period' tests you can try...
