I was getting in the shower then saw this crust on my nips is that normal? Anyone else?
Its dried up colostrum. I usually pick it off and shower. No big deal. This will happen a lot as u breast feed too so make sure u use nipple ointment to keep them soft and so they don't crust over. Can't imagine having a poor baby feed on a crusty boob. Not pleasant for either party, am I right?
It may be the premilk drying. Occasionally when my breasts leak I'll notice a hard crust on my nipple.
