flu shot or nah

Hi ladies im a ftm, Im 20 & today I just made 7 weeks. I had a miscarriage a few months ago so i guess im a bit paranoid but I was wondering if getting a flu shot will affect my baby? My nurse suggested it and said she recommends it for all pregnant women but I havent had one in  a couple years so Im worried because it is a live virus and Im not sure how ill react. Any advice?

U should get tdap and flu. Is for whooping cough which can be passed to infants  very easily. If you get the flu shot its an inactive virus the only active flu virus that is given is thru the nasal spray there isno active flu virus thats in a shot form i jIdt talked to my Dr today cause i was worried bout the same thing!

My ob had me get one because i am pregnant, even tho I've never gotten one before and had told her this.she still recomended i get one, so if it's safe enough for me to get one as my first time, you should be good unless you've had previous complications with the flu shot
