Id go in and see ur doc asap. Most likely ull be put on bedrest if you are for sure 2cm already. Def go see your doc asap they know what is best in these circumstances.

The drive may be worth it . Try not to do any checks until your doctor wants or they need to because it can cause bacteria , and can make the body think its ready by checking the cervix . Ease your mind momma just go to l&d or wait till morning amd call your doctor and tell them your worries . Try to stay off your feet until then :) also everyone is different sometimes when telling how many cm you are because of it going by your fingers but they'll most likely do an ultrasound as well
Oh and I can't call my doc if I decide to get checked out its and hour drive to l&d
My mother who is a registered nurse dud the check. But she hasn't worked is obstetrics for many years and is unsure what I should do.
Consult with your doctor . But you can be stuck at 2cm for weeks still . I'm stuck at two and have been since around 30 weeks and I'm now 41 weeks
I would be considering u still got a while to go, what does your doctor have to say about it?
