Should you really not go up and down the steps after labor? I dont have stiches n im not really in pain down there only when i get up from sitting

I was told to limit it as much as possible as it can slow down the healing process.  If you're comfortable I believe you're the best judge of what limits to place, though you should ask your doctor or midwife as they know the trauma your body experienced.

I still went up & down the stairs & I had stitches . I had a 9 pound baby. But you should just get some rest & not go up them to quick  if you need to go up them. & congrats :)
