You are best to speak with your Dr.... 2 liters per day sounds lke too much to me, but some people say you shouldnt have any, and that is ridiculous.. We are pregnant.. Not dying..

I think you should talk to your Dr about caffeine pill as someone aboved mentioned to supplement some of the caffeine you are straight drinking. I am a migraine sufferer as well so I feel your pain. There should be some alternative your Dr. can offer that stays within the "safe" caffeine intake levels and wont harm baby!

Good luck and ask your Dr. Thats my advice!

I was told by my OB that I am allowed to have 2 caffeinated beverages a day, that's it.
Sounds like you are taking too much in.

My OBGYN said 2-3 caffeine drinks/day.  Some days I don't have any, but for the most part I'll get headaches if I don't have any.  I try and drink caffeine-free diet soda when at home and work, only drinking caffeinated diet soda when out to eat.  But I also treat myself to 2 starbucks frappucino's a week because sometime I need one to get me going in the morning.  I think 1 2liter sounds like too much, but I would listen to what your doctor has to say.

They recommend 75mg of caffine a day if you do drink it. My mom suffered through migrines all during her pregnancies as well. Talk to your doc about them and see what you can do.

I know that in having migranes you do what you have to do to get through. My mom is a chronic sufferer. 3-4 a week! Hang in there!!!!

well your allowed 300 mg of caffeine a day.  That's about 5 cups of pop or coffee.  Or 2 of one and 3 of the other.

Anyways, ask your doctor, s/he will be able to tell you some ideas on how to control your migranes.  If it means lowering your caffeine and taking a caffeine pill, which yes they have.  It may work.  Was there another option to your migraine medicine?  Sometimes generic brands are safer, but you have to ask your doctor to know for sure!
