is it possible for

A woman who's  not dalited at all to be in labor?

My friend was in labor for almost 30 hours and had to have a csection because she wouldn't dilate past 2 cm

Also labour (contractions) are what help you to dilate

Well, that is a tough and complicated question.  There is a complication to called latent phase labor.  I had this situation and my cervix would not open although I was contracting severely and the baby needed to come out.  So, basically, yes.  I was in active labor with a cervix that wouldn't open but it was a complication.  It required a doctor to intervene.  good luck
