I don't have any of the issues you do, but you do make a good point. Doctors don't become doctors by just putting in an application, dressing nice, and having a good personallity. Doctors go to school to learn. Under NO circumstances should you ever just go with what a doctor says if you're uncomfortable, you should get a second opinion to confirm, or just for peace of mind. BUT the internet is full of things that can cause you to go stir crazy. I for one looked up reactions to foods the other day because my son keeps having them with certain things, and there's so many different answers to what could be causing it, some simple and some very scary. Not to mention we can't forget the fact that the internet is mind blowing. I could be a fifty year old male or I could be a 23 year old female. No one on here knows for sure...so what you read could be a bunch of BS. Your doctor is real, and they do have a real degree, and second opinions shouldn't offend them, if they do OH WELL! Trust your doctor!
It is always best to get a second opinion. Not every doctor is very ethical or even knowledgeable. It all starts with trust between the patient and the doctor. Good luck! My SIL is bipolar and is weaning off of her medication so that she can become pregnant because what she is taking is definitely not safe during pregnancy. I believe there is one medication that is but I have no idea what it is called. I didn't ask her what it was by name.
