I've been using Honest Company Belly Balm since we found out and then a skin firming lotion throughout the day (which is also good for cellulite, hello weight gain precautions), so far so good! I haven't even been slightly itchy.

Stretch marks are caused by genetics. Either you will get them or you won't. There is absolutely no lotion or oil in the world that will get deep enough into your skin to prevent them from happening or make them go away. All lotion will do is slightly alter the appearance. If you know someone who said they used "cocoa butter" or anything during pregnancy and it caused them to not get stretch marks, they were just never going to get them anyways. I work in the cosmetic industry so I know this information. Lotion will definitely help tho with itchy skin so use it for that if your itchy belly is driving you nuts!

I've read that if you drink a lot of water  it helps you not get them ... but I drink lots of water n use baby oil and lotion every night right after the shower ... idk if its because I'm small to be 35 weeks or not but I don't have any besides the ones that were there before n they have slowly gone away since I've been doing it.

Vitamin E works even better than cocoa butter. If you can, find an oil with vitamin E to use after you get out of the shower and then a cocoa butter to use whenever you need it. I use the burts bees.
