I've been using Honest Company Belly Balm since we found out and then a skin firming lotion throughout the day (which is also good for cellulite, hello weight gain precautions), so far so good! I haven't even been slightly itchy.
I know you cant make them magically go awaythats why i said to help them faid or not show so much im 30 weeks and have like prrobly 5 small small ones but before i start getting more id like to help them fade just want to use the rite things. Thanks ill check everything out
Look into the tummy butter from www.thespoiledmama.com it's worked well for me and has great reviews. All natural
Vitamin E oil and bio oil , it helps alot !!
Stretch marks are caused by genetics. Either you will get them or you won't. There is absolutely no lotion or oil in the world that will get deep enough into your skin to prevent them from happening or make them go away. All lotion will do is slightly alter the appearance. If you know someone who said they used "cocoa butter" or anything during pregnancy and it caused them to not get stretch marks, they were just never going to get them anyways. I work in the cosmetic industry so I know this information. Lotion will definitely help tho with itchy skin so use it for that if your itchy belly is driving you nuts!
I just bought bio oil not sure how effective it will be but I like it to far :)! And it's a sad expensive
I've read that if you drink a lot of water it helps you not get them ... but I drink lots of water n use baby oil and lotion every night right after the shower ... idk if its because I'm small to be 35 weeks or not but I don't have any besides the ones that were there before n they have slowly gone away since I've been doing it.
Thank u have any of u used or heard of the regenerative belly butter from nine west ??
Vitamin E works even better than cocoa butter. If you can, find an oil with vitamin E to use after you get out of the shower and then a cocoa butter to use whenever you need it. I use the burts bees.
I also use baby lotion and baby oil gel
I use baby lotion not a stretch mark yet:)
Bio oil has helped wonders for me.
I just read another post on here about coco butter not being a good suggestion because it has caffeine in it and isn't good for the baby
I was told coco butter does the job and when you itch just rub it dont scratch
Palmers cocoa butter works wonders. (:
