Hi Im six weeks pregnant my hcg level at 4 weeks 5 days was 603 went back at 5 weeks and 1 day and it was 4300 is that an okay HCG level reading also, I am currently at 6 weeks and my pregnancy symptoms have subsided but I'm still very nausea but my breat dont hurt as much anymore! I have had 3 consecutive misscarriages so I'm praying this lil bean sticks:) Any advice would be appreciated:)
Monday. It was supposed to be tomorrow but I had to reschedule. I have a very busy 2 and 3 year old so I am just curious if I should prepare myself for a bigger handful!!:)
Keep in mind that the range of levels is just a general kind of thing. Some women have higher levels while others have lower. You very well COULD be having twins, but chances are about the same that you aren't. When will they be doing your dating ultrasound?
Thank you. I have no idea how far along I am because I didn't get a period last month but I know i'm no further than a few weeks as My HCG level was only a 7 a couple weeks ago. I am just wondering because I know its supposed to double every 48-72hrs but its clearly going up faster than that.. That just makes me nervous!:)
High HCG can inidicate multiples but the presence of high levels of hcg can't definitively diagnose a multiple pregnancy. Becuase you do not know how far along you are your levels could be right on target. If you had to take a guess how far do you think you would be? Here is a chart of the average HCG levels per week of pregnancy for a singleton pregnancy:
3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
Postmenopausal females: <9.5 mIU/ml
I hope this helps.
