ANY type of water is fine if you live in the US, it does not reach the baby. Only be concerned if you travel to places with contaminated or overly polluted water like Haiti. Do not use any type of hot tub or soak in a bath higher than 99 degrees. It is dangerous for both you and the baby. Your internal body temperature is already raised.  When your body temperature reaches 104degrees it causes irreversible brain and tissue damamge. Same with the baby. It basically "cooks" the brain. That's why you also should never get in a tanning bed while pregnant.  It's not from the lights, its because your body gets hotter and it will "cook" the tissue.
