Has anyone ever had the nurse say it was a girl then next appointment it ended up a boy?
Yes. 14 weeks it was a girl 18 weeks ir was a girl till before I left and an del of a sudden no its a boy but we will see for sure next month but it's a boy...
I asked this question when I was in labor with my daughter to a nurse who'd been at the hospital for 40 years. She told me that she has never seen that happen. Ever. It is beyond rare. A technician won't tell you what gender your baby is unless they are completely positive.

I just had an ultrasound yesterday at 15w and they guessed it is a girl. She sounded very sure of herself but still recommended not having a gender reveal party yet :)
Reason why boys are mistaken as girls is because if they are late bloomers they can look like girls at first. It is most common for them to think you are having a girl and it's a boy but pretty uncommon to have them think it is a boy and actually be a girl unless it is a very very early gender guess.
It's not its very very common to mistake a girl then turns out to be a boy happened to many of my family members n friends xx
Most techs will mistake boys for girls but it is very rare for a girl to be mistaken for a boy. Because it is kinda obvious when it's a boy unless the girl has large genitals that can be mistaken for a boy.
My friend was told she was having a girl, she bought all pink stuff (including a pushchair and carseat in pink) and she gave birth to a boy.
My friend was told it was a girl (not sure when the dating scans were) by the next scan turns out they made a mistake he was a boy lol
Hasnt happen to me thank God but it did w.my cousin they told her it was going to be a boy. She had a bbyshower still thinking it was going to be a boy & room ready , name picked out & everything @birth came out to be a girl lol.
Lol I hope at my 20week ultrasound baby girl ends up to be baby boy...I have a gut feeling its a boy
They did it to my mom. I was suppose to be a boy and they told her up until she gave birth that I was a boy and when I came out I was a girl lol
Just wanted to check cause at my 18week ultrasound I was told girl but the tech said it too fast like she wasn't sure
