When does the third trmester begin CONFUSED!

I have read that some places say the third trimester starts at week 27 and some that say week 28. I will be 27 weeks this friday which I may say that is a milestone for me because this is the furthest that I have gotten in a pregnancy Thank God and all is well. Please provide some insight Thank.

I am pretty good , mostly past the nausea stage which is great. I am just enjoying my pregnancy. Can't wait to get to where you are at!

First day of the 28th week is the third trimester! Congrats!!!

I always thought that it was the 28th week. I'm pretty sure it goes the first trimester is the first 13 weeks, second trimester is week 14-27 and the third was 28-40+. Congrats on getting this far along soon you'll be holding that sweet baby! :)
