Membrane sweep?
I just turned 38 weeks on Sunday. I haven't been dilated at all and today at my doctors appointment, he checked me and said I was 1 1/2 cm dilated and over 50% effaced. He went ahead and swept my membranes, my contractions were 5 minuets apart last night. I bought a birthing ball from walmart and am going to bounce on it for awhile. Has anyone had it done and did it work? What about the birthing ball?
I had a membrane sweep on a Friday at 11 and had my daughter Sunday at 5:42. It worked for me. I was 39.5 and 1.5 cm dilated and 80% effaced.
