Congratulations babe!
They will warm up to the idea once you get your little baby bump n_-
I got a pelvic exam,  blood work, and you get asked 101 questions. It's best to have the father of your baby there so they can get his genetic history as well.

Congrats! On your pregnancy and on telling your parents. I was a Mom at 17 and had extremely supportive parents. I'm glad your parents are being supportive of you as well. Call your OB or choose one and call. They usually make your first appointment at 8 weeks and take urine, blood and give you lots of info on your pregnancy. But for now you can start taking prenatal vitamins, cutting back on caffeine and definitely stay away from alcohol, drugs and contact sports. This is also a great time to focus on your school work, staying on top of everything now will make it easier to catch up when you take a couple weeks off for the birth. Also, focusing on your future is the best thing you can do for yourself and your baby! Having a baby this young doesn't need to change your goals and aspirations for your future/career. It will definitely be harder, it might take a little longer, but it is the BEST thing you can do for yourself and your baby :) Good luck with everything!
