tooth infection 36wks prego :(

Has anyone else had bad tooth pains or infection. Mine started 2 days ago ob said to take amoxicillin. I hate the dentist and worried this is going to harm my baby. My current dentist wont do xrays. The pains better with the antibiotics but they will only do ao much. I might need a root canal.anyone else have dental work done when pregnant?
