traveling pregnant

Hello ladies.. so today I'm 7 weeks pregnant and I need help. I've been having my vacation planned for months. And I'm goin to be flying alone to meet with family. The flight is 3 hours... Is it ok to fly during your first trimester? Don't want to do any harm to the baby. And also is it ok to lift luggage as well. I'm taking about 40lbs... Please help, thank you.

I flew when I was 12 weeks. I was just told that if it was a long flight, to get up at least once an hour and walk to the bathroom, to prevent clotting.

I'd definitely ask your doctor. I have heard they don't want you traveling in your first & last trimester and that it's not good to lift heavy objects. But it also depends on your pregnancy. So I'd give them a call & double check.
