trying to get pregnant

i just got off of birthcontrol in june, and since then my periods have been very irregular, varying from 26-31 days with no real pattern. My boyfriend and i are trying to get pregnant but i feel like tracking ovulation is impossible every month i get my period, and no baby. I also have been so unfortunate to have recurring bacterial vaginosis, so this has lead to a higher Ph levels and i feel like this could be throwing my ovulation off as well. if anyone has any advice please help!

bacterial vaginosis is not an STD, inside the vagina there is normal bacteria and yeast but sometimes the balance is thrown off and the bacteria over grows this could be due to too many sexual partners, if you work out a lot and sweat a lot down there, tampons can sometimes cause this also because cheap ones can break tiny parts off and cause a bacteria growing frenzy. There are a lot of things that can contribute. The oder is one of the main syptoms along with itching and sometimes burning, however i have no symptoms and sometimes have it so it depends. To treat it you simply have to take an antibiotic. It is either adminstered vaginaly (which i do not prefer because it gave me a yeast infection) or oraly. To diagnosis you just need a pap, it's quite simple and for most people it doesnt come back once you treat it.

hope that helps.
