Ethan Matthew has arrived!
I gave birth to my perfect little boy on Monday Dec 17th...his actual due date! It was a long 21 hour labor but totally worth it! He was 7 lbs 140z and measured at 21 inches long. Thanks to all of you that helped me through my miscarriage in Nov 06 and through my questions I had during this pregnancy! I feel truly blessed to have him, I never thought I would get to this point!

For all you trying to get pregnant, dont give up hope and be your own advocate. I believe my first m/c was from having low progesterone because we saw a heartbeat and some growth, then all of a sudden I just started bleeding a cramping. I had a bad dr then and asked to get my hormones tested and she said since it was my 1st pregnancy there was no need. So this time around I met with a new dr before I got pregnant and talked to him about possibilities of why...of course there is no answer for it, just these things happen! He said when I got pregnant again to come in right away and check my progesterone. At 4wk4days, it was at 17, then dropped to 15 two days later. Since they like to see it above 20 for pregnancy I got on supplements. I believe this saved my pregnancy. Now I have a beautiful baby boy and this whole experience it so surreal. I still cant believe it!

i am so happy for you. we have been trying to get pregnant for about 3 years, and ended up having an ectopic rupture. i lost the baby, and one of my tubes. i can imagine how scared you must of been when you got pregnant this last time. i am so happy for you to have a beautiful baby after a miscarriage. it gives some of us hope that it will soon happen for us.
