Because at that stage babies all grow at the same rate
Ultrasounds done before 12 weeks are extremely accurate
Your first U/s is usually perform to c exact measurement of fetus from head to rump.. thus giving them exact weeks of pregnancy... after that u/s can change as some babies tend to grow faster and bigger and some tend to take time...
yes ovulation can happen later.. i myself had late ovulation with this pregnancy... according to my LMP my due date should be 5 march however its 12 march... and i was suppose to ovulate between CD14-CD18 but i ovulated on somewhere between CD23-CD25..
Not necessarily ultrasounds have a + or - 2 wk differential so you could measure on either side of that
There is a week apart from my LMP and ultrasound, does that mean I ovulated later?
ultrasounds are exact.. because they are performed after measuring baby.. you can go off from date of LMP.. thats why u/s is done to confirm how many weeks you are.. i was suppose to be 14wks and 2 days on my first u/s but i was only 13+1...
no hunny uktrasounds measure how big your baby is...ultrasounds r exact usually...
