So I was in walmart minding my own business picking out fathers day cards and all the sudden I get this reaalllyy strong cramping. I seriously almost start crying. So I'm trying to walk it off since I drove myself and decide to check out real quick and head home. It lasted about 5 minutes and stopped as soon as I sat down in the car. I have no idea what it was. I'm kinda hoping maybe baby girl decided to turn and what I was feeling was the pressure? Or maybe a Braxton hicks contraction since I haven't had one yet? Idk I'm stumped lol hasn't happened again since I got hone either...

I get sharp shooting pains right up the door to my baby's abode whilst walking... It stops me in my tracks... Really painful, I'm almost 37 weeks with baby 5 x

I'd recommend using the motorized carts. I have to when i go to Walmart otherwise i start getting bad back pain and have to sit even if its on the floor in the middle of an aisle. I can't stand for more than 10 minutes without it happening. Even at home. And I'm 35 weeks

Yeah its my first baby. I didn't think it was a contraction since it lasted so long. But it scared me that labor could start that fast lol I'm trying to get everything ready and I might get a list to get my hospital bag packed. Just in case

Not sure if this is your first baby or not, but a contraction feels like your stomach is being squeezed.  Kind of like what happens to your arm when your blood pressure is being taken.  But it shouldn't last for 5 minutes.

I just had that this past weekend! I was at Hobby Lobby and had to sit down in the check out line! I thought I was going to pass out! I made it to the car, my husband cranked up the AC, and I was soon feeling better! It happens if I'm standing or walking for too long. I think maybe since we're so close to our due dates that heavy babies can sit on things that hurt?

Yes at about 35 weeks i was leaving my mat appointment and i was driving i got a super contraction and ended up letting the car just roll to the curb and parked it hurt so bad i thought i was going to pass out. It went away and felt crampy for about a day never happened again.

I have been for about 2 weeks now. And constant period like cramps that haven't stopped. Idk what it could be /:

Yeah I'm laying on the couch now. Still crampy but it's not nearly as painful

If it hasn't happened again I would think its just baby turning or stretching. Take it easy though just in case the feeling sneaks up on you again.
