There are people that double their weight in pregnancy it happens and a lot of it is just their bodies! I have gained 32 pounds and my doctor says that's totally normal and I'm just about 32 weeks

I was 187 before pregnancy and now at 14 weeks I'm 169. My doctor isn't worried about my weight loss because I'm overweight and she said it's fine if I continue to lose weight as long as the baby is growing. I'm not allowed to gain over ten pounds in this pregnancy, but I was also told it was better if I didn't gain anything. From my understanding the 20-30 pound weight gain was if you started at a healthy weight to begin with; not everyone is the same and not everyone needs to gain a lot of weight. But if you're stressing over it you could get get another opinion from a different doctor.

Iknow she said that because im the weight someone should be right before they give birth.  And she said self deprivation wont hurt me. As it is idont eat much now ifeel like I literally have to starve.she said if I musy gain weight I should only gain 15pounds but it would be better if ilost weight. Im not even as big as shes making me seem im like a size 9/10

That is ridiculous. Even being over weight you can still gain some. Your doctor sounds like a douche. I am "obese". at the beginning of my pregnancy I weighed 250lbs. I lost 30 because of morning sickness. So I was down to 220. I have Gaines 13 pounds in totally at 37+4. My doctor said my gain is awesome. With a goal of 15 pounds. Screw him. He's wrong. You are going to gain and you will probably randomly lose it too. You are fine. Eat what you want.

Sounds like you need a new doctor. Even diabetics dont completely cut out carbs and sugar. I am overweight and was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and they put me on a diet but i still eat a lot of what i want. The main thing is to cut out soda and juice that will help out a lot im 36 weeks and only gained 5 pounds so far.. good luck to u
