Whats the earlist you can asked to be induced

Well im 39 weeks today my due date is in a week on the 25th if i don't go in labor before or on my d-date can i ask for an induction? will they do it or will they make me wait till i go into labor on my own? i read that they do inductions when your 41+ weeks i just wanted to know what are the chances of them doing it for me at 40 weeks?

yeah i bet she is my first due date was april 2nd then when i went back the changed it to the 25th of march i hope i don't go overdue i'd probably go crazy 10 months is long enough but 11 is to long

I think they let her go solong becuase her first date was march 14, then all the ultrasound dates put her at Feb 29, I think she's gonna  have a BIG baby.

Wow that's almost 3 weeks i don't know how she's doing that i still have a week left to my due date and im tired i be in so much pain i just lay there and cry i don't think i could make it that far past my d-date without loosing my mind

I don't want to be but im in alot of pain and all my doctor tells me to do is take it easy i've been taking it easy and that doesn't help none my feet,legs,back,hands,stomach,and private area hurts i can't take it anymore he said i was in early labor that was almost a month ago and still no baby im so tired i can barely eat or sleep and when i do dose off its for maybe an hour or 2 tops im just worn out

a friend is being induced tomorrow night...she will be 20 days past her due date

are u sure you wanna be induced? in my personal history and other i know, inducing only makes the labor that much more difficult. besides being hooked up to all kinds of machines and an iv, your stuck at the hospital all day and by the time your ready to push your already so worn out.

With my last, my Dr scheduled me for two days later. That was the earliest he had available. Worked out fine, gave me time to wrap that last minute, packing stuff. So honestly it will depend on your Dr's schedule I'm sure.

I hope so im so ready for this to be over i'll give it a try this thursday when i go to the doctor if he does agree to do it will they do it the same day or will he make me an appointment to have it done a few days later?

Yeah! If you let your Dr know you're in pain, they will usually go ahead and induce.

It all depends on your dr. My sister was at 38w and we went in and just told the dr. how much pain she was in (she wasnt) and stuff like that. And then induce that day. My SIL got induce one week before her due date.

My doctors always wanted to induce me ON my due date if I hadn't gone on my own. Luckily they stripped my membranes the Friday before I was due and I went into labor at home.
