If u get sick of water drink powerade not gaterade its not as helpful

My doc told me yesterday I drank to much n going to make myself sick. I only had 90 oz. I drank like 4 hospital size cups they give u. I never been told that

True....lower ur water intake at night so that u don't have to get up in the middle of the night....that's what I do. What I do is I drink a whole bottle when I lay down and sometimes I do wake up at night, when that happens I just drink another bottle and lay down....but most of the time I sleep through the night with no problems.

Also by drinking water I was told it keeps the amniotic fluid surrounding the baby cleaner :) that's why I drink as much as I can but kinda hard to sleep when you wake up every 2 hrs

Oooooh my goodness I hate peeing every 20 seconds its annoying its difficult getting up once u lay down...

My doctor told me that also, but i cant even keep water down, and when it finally do stay down i get excessive heartburn

My doctor told me today that by drinking water we reduce the chances of yiest infections as well as bladder infections and that the bacteria in ur pee don't reproduces as much when u drink water....I literally go through a 34 bottle case in less than a week...yes I pee a lot but at least my baby is fine. I'm 33 weeks and I havent got any swelling,  I'm always standing on my feet at work and I walk a lot.I sleep through the night literally no pains at all....while u drinking that delicious water just think of all the good u are doing for your baby.  Btw I only drink nestle water, I find it that cold or room temperature it taste good.

I feel your pain at home its okay but how about when were out and about. just being pregnant makes me go about every hour and when i drink water i need to go ever 30 mins

All I drink is water then my doctor tells me to double my water intake! I told her to buy me an air mattress and a mini fridge because I am never leaving the bathroom

lol. I agree completely. doesn't help something is sitting on your bladder constantly but water just makes you pee even more than usual.
