Thank you the hospital here Ohio duo watery births so i really want to do it.
Yep, having my 3rd homebirth in water too :) if you're in USA the system really ***** so you need to be somewhere that will let you labour naturally and birth in water - most hospitals won't do this (or you need to be really good at saying 'no' to interventions) so you may need a birthing centre or homebirth... But it's totally worth it! Waterbirths are awesome for pain relief :)
Planning for a third home water birth. They don't let you do water births here at the hospital otherwise I wouldn't mind birthing there. I have a midwife and a great birth team, so it should go well. If you can have water it's heavenly!! Good luck momma!
I doing a water birth if its open when i go into labor.. Im excited..
I will be having a natural water birth this time around, the first time around I had an epidural and the entire experience was just not what I wanted at all.
I wanted to water birth I've read it's wonderful! But my hospital doesn't do it even though they have big tubs. I'm going to do natural but labor inside the tub because I also read that warm water helps with contractions and the labor part to relax and have a better labor.
I would love to have a waterbirth. Hope I can.
I'm not personally because I'm having twins so the birth center in my area wouldn't take me for liability reasons. But my best friend had a home water birth with her second baby two years ago and just had a water birth at the birthing center last night! Both times went great and she had quick births with both. She said its kind of tough but she wouldn't do anything else. She's already home adjusting to life with her new baby:)
I am :) currently 37+6 just waiting for the arrival :) also I'm doing a home birth.
