Newborn clothes

FTM here, went to buy clothes today, and   got slightly confused, so I would like to hear your opinions - how do you chose how big clothes you buy, when the baby is still in the belly. I have month left till birth, and no clue how much the little girl will weigh, so bought 2.5 kg clothes, but also a bit bigger 3.4 kg clothes, but the more I look, the more I think the 3.4kg will be way too big. But you never know and I wouldn't want to buy clothes too small, seeing how one set of clothes cost around 15 - 20 £. Any tips / opinions?

I'm ftm too, I got confused too. So I bought size 0-3, 0-6. I didn't get any newborn, in just figured she will grow into it. I didnt want to get newborn & then doesn't fit or something. Just get 0-3 & above, the baby will grow into them.

Just buy a few newborn ones but keep the tags on and with receipts. If they are too small or you got to many, just exchange. Its a hassle but worth it. You dont want to be running out to get smaller clothes when shes born.

I asked my dr how big he thought he'd be and he was about right! We didn't get many newborn clothes because we figured he'd outgrown them fast and he did but he came out 8 pounds 8 ounces
