weight gain

So I am 25 weeks and have gained 21 pounds so farr. My pre pregnancy weight was about 100 lbs. I feel terrible because I went in for an appointment today and they said I gained 8 pounds in the last 4 weeks. Now I feel guilty eating anything. Has anyone else gone through this before? I'm just so nervous because the doctor said I should only be gaining about 1 pound a week.:(

I am 25 weeks and I've gained 10 pounds total. I was shocked because I tend to eat tons of fruit and salads. My most favorite cravings. But my midwife said it was probably the baby and other stuff. I've noticed my boobs are bigger too. I'm trying not to freak out but at the end a healthy baby is all that matters.

I am 20 weeks and have only gained 7 pounds. Hoping to stay under 15. But my mother gained 54 pounds with me. Everyone is different don't feel guilty because it will all work out and it's not going to hurt your little one so enjoy yourself :)

Dont be worried about the amount of weight you gain. My pre pregnancy weight was 125 and im very athletic. But ive gained 35 pounds so far and im stacking up the weight. You have to remember that theres lots of that weight that has to do with the fluids for baby, the placenta, the uterus and the baby. You can eat as much as you want, just be sure to eat healthy. I tend to keep strawberries in a bowl that are cleaned and cut so if im hungry i go for healthy food and its all ready to eaten !

You should try not to gain much  during the beginning of your pregnancy because honestly once you're 8 months and that baby is bulking up fat and gaining half a pound a week the weight gain is drastic! literally baby gains all the weight like the last month so try to control a bit

I gained 5 pounds the month after I gained the 10 and she didn't say anything. So I'm hoping when I go back next week it won't be any more than 5 again! Lol

I thought I was the only one lol, I'm also a first time mother though. Thank you though! I'm just always so hungry so tend to eat a lot. I hope when I get weighed next month, it's a healthy normal weight gain. Not 8 pounds again

I'm 23+4 weeks and have gained a little over 20 by now... My pre pregnancy weight is 134 and in one month I gained 10 pounds and my doctor told me to slow down a bit which I totally understand because I was eating anything I wanted once the nausea subsided and was kinda thinking I needed to gain weight lol (first timer so i had no clue how fast I would gain) I would say try to eat as healthy as you can and drink plenty of water and however much you gain is going to happen no matter what and everyone's different just try and cut out processed food or food high in salt and sugar
