weird?

So I went to my local health department today because I got a bold positive on a pregnancy test Saturday.  They confirmed pregnancy and said I'm only 4 weeks.  Is it normal to know so soon? What could it mean?

Thanks guys.  I appreciate the fast comments.  I was just curious.  I was almost 7 weeks with my first and 6 with my second.  Was never able to find out so soon with the first two. Even took pregnancy tests sooner with them.  Always negative

I am 25weeks and was 2weeks3days when I found out....This is my 4th pregnancy. I miscarried one in '07 but with all 4 I found out when I was between 2-3 weeks along. Some people just 'know' right away and the horomones show up faster. All of my kids are singles so I wouldn't worry too much about multiples. The only thing finding out early does is make the pregnancy seem to last FOREVER! lol

I got 3 positive home pregnancy tests at 4 weeks but I didn't go to the doctor to get it confirmed until I was 5 weeks

I found out at 3 weeks and 2 days with my first pregnancy, completely unexpected didn't miss my period or anything. I had some blood tests done at the dr. For other reasons and I was shocked knowing so soon. Lol. Im now on my 2nd and found out at 4 weeks and 2 days.

I've just got one in there lol...twins run in my family so I was freaked at first too. But finding out early doesn't automatically mean multiples.

Yes, it's normal to know so soon. I was 4 weeks 2 days when I got my BFP and that was because my period was 2 days late. Some people know at 3 weeks. Could just mean you implanted earlier - but all is well. Congrats on your pregnancy.

Ok. I've heard that if you're hormones are higher earlier that you might be having multiples so I'm kinda freaking out lol.

I found out at 4 weeks, it's not uncommon; mine was a digital home pregnancy test and it read "Pregnant" pretty much immediately. Pregnancy tests these days are a lot more sensitive.

Some people have the hormones to get the bfp quicker :-)  I got mine three weeks after doing the "tango" with my man.  Lol it was the only time we did it in six weeks! we were both working overtime, have a crazy two year old, and were just to tired to do it as much as we would have liked to lol.

It just means your hormones have gotten high enough to read on a test! I conceived on nov 6 and found out nov 25.
