How am I pregnant?

I have a question based on pregnancy. I had unprotected sex January 28th and got my period January 31st. I engaged in intercoarse once again without protection on March 4th and took a morning after pill within 72 hours. My period was is past due by more then 7 days and the pregnancy test says that it is positive. What my question is I am pregnant from the intercoarse I had in the end of January and got my period right after or in March when I took a morning after pill and didn't get my period. What would your must guess be. I had taken a pregnancy test on March 10th and it came postive, could it be that I am pregnant from March 4th or Jan 28th

Hi!
You will need to have an ultrasound to be certain about your dates.  An ultrasound will tell you your due date and also how far along you are.  You can then calculate backwards to figure out when you got pregnant.

Now, having said all that, I am going to bet that you got pregnant in January and are now about 6-8 weeks along.  Your due date would fall in October if so.

Good luck!

I also think that you probably conceived in January and had what is known as implantation bleeding (when the embryo implants into the uterine lining).

Join us in the October 09 group, too, so you can speak with women (myself included) who are due when you are!
