what a week!

Well, if any of yoy remember, I had posted a couple weeks ago that I was needing to have surgery for a large mass. Well I had the operation on Tuesday morning. I had to have a vertical incision cut into my abdomen right over my uterus. It turned out that my mass had completely took over my right ovary and not the left one like we had originally thought. But what was weird is that I kept feelin the little amount of pain I felt on my left side. But anyways, my mass was about the size of a baby's head and had expanded across to the middle of my body. I had to have my ovary removed but the tube is still there! So I now have one ovary left which will completely take over everything now that the other one is gone.  I will have to have yearly ultrasounds to see if I get another mass on my other ovary as the doctor did say there is a 30% chance of it may happening again
But he seems pretty positive about. I am just thinking that my husband and I will have babies close in age now just in case. I was really wanting at least 3 years in between each baby but I think it will be ok. Anyways though, I truly believe my baby is an angel. If I hadn't gotten pregnant then we never would have found the mass which we originally thought was just a cyst that was cause by the pregnancy but it became very concerning when it kept getting bigger and it didn't go away. Doc said I may have had this for over a year which was still small for detection and I even went in for an annual about 6 months before conceiving so it had grown a bunch in 6 months. But if I had never gotten pregnant before my next annual then it could've caused even bigger problems that more than likely could've ended up with me having to have a hysterectomy and no babies at all. But, baby boy saved me from a really big heartbreak. So I am very excited that I get to have more babies!
I spent 3 days in the hospital trying to recover and I still am recovering.  It still definitely hurts to walk and my medication makes me very sleepy! One thing I did realize was that somebody got to hold my baby before me, a nurse had to told my uterus while the doc went in to get my mass as it was behind my uterus. I thought it was kinda cool but disappointing because somebody held him before me lol. They couldn't see him because the lining of the uterus is about an inch thick. But anyways!! That's my update, I'm sure I left something out, but my mind is getting sleepy from my medication so it's time for another nap! Prayers and good thoughts for my recovery would be awesome and appreciated!! :)
