Its never too early to start. Though stretch marks are near impossible to prevent, the elasticity of your skin will determine how severe of stretch marks you get. Remember to stay hydrated! Drinking water is the most important thing you can do... i also recommend taking vitamin e supplement during the second trimester to work from the inside out - this could also help prevent ripping during labor. Until then moisturize 3-4 times daily with a cream or lotion containing cocoa, shea, elastin &vitamin e. The more you take care of your skin the less stretch marks you'll get & the quicker they will fade. Good luck!
I used coco butter. The generic kind but with my first i started using it twice a day once i found out and Im now 13.5weeks with my second and i started using it at 3.5weeks. Im still using it twice a day. I didn't get stretch marks with my first hoping i don't with my second either.
I use bio oil but it is a lil pricey but after my son i had strecth the dark ones started using the bio oil they are very light and u can barely see them to make sure i didnt get stretch marks with this one i started using it again :)
you can use coca butter but honestly you can't really prevent stretch marks it will just happen
