Lose some before pregnancy?

Ok so I have to admit, after nine and a half months I haven't lost much from my pregnancy for with my son. DH and I want to try again when he's about a year old...should I shed a few pounds before hand? I'm 5'5'' and I weigh 165...I don't look very big, probably because the ladies are still DDs and if I was able to do sit ups my skin on my tummy would be tighter. (Thanks to Mrs I'm an anesthesiologist stabbing me five times for my spinal (c-section) and then Mr Wonderful getting it on the first try, I've had pain in my lower back on my spine preventing me from doing sit ups.) So if it wasn't for the loose skin on my tummy and my "trunk" being a little bigger I'd be happily back in my size 9s I wore before I got pregnant...I miss my body...flat no-stretch-mark tummy, 34 C, not too skinny, but not too big either...Ok, so after my ranting story...should I try to fit back into 9s or at least 10s before I get preggo again? I'm in a 12 now...or is it good I still have loose skin, which may help with the end stages of the good year blimp part of pregnancy?

I know how you feel... I'm 5'8 and low 170's.. ( but still), HOWEVER when I got preggo with my son I was 177 so I'm happy with my weight and would like to hit the high 190's this time simply because I know how it was to be sick so much and not able to get my nutrition and what it did to my body.....and him.

Thanks!! I'm hoping the loose skin will be like a deflated balloon...easier to expand the second time around.

It doesnt really matter. If you feel comfortable then im sure u will while pregnant. I still have loose skin and im prgnant the second time round. I'm sure it couldn't hurt, its already been stretched lol. Good luck. xx
